Business Analyst
Job Description
- Responsible for engaging with the customer stakeholders, understanding, analysing and documenting processes, helping facilitate the deployment of a solution, and providing training and support to the customer.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify, understand, and analyse customer business requirements.
- Document and review detailed functional specifications, including workflows, program functions, use cases, and steps required to develop or modify the specifications to positively impact operational effectiveness.
- Clearly define the business flows in the client organization, map them to Tarantula product features and perform gap analysis.
- Trace customer requirements through design, build, and test phases.
- Consult with the delivery team to determine responses to queries on functional requirements, objectives of the feature or module, or business process flows as understood by Tarantula in the context of the product.
- Review use cases and other technical documents with the Delivery team to ensure business requirements are adequately reflected in technical planning documents.
- Monitor the delivery of the product, check the integration environment at the client end, and review any functional problems at the client site.
- With the delivery team’s help, review whether the delivered implementation meets the functional requirements of the client.
- Analyse the delivery team’s activities and trends, and compare against the service standards and best practices. Present findings and work with the project manager to identify and implement strategies that will address tactical and strategic goals.
- Liaise between client and the delivery team throughout the delivery phase. Ensure that delivery is complete according to agreed time, cost, and scope.
- Develop relationships with client personnel, continually seek opportunities to increase customer satisfaction, and deepen client relationships. Assist in the facilitation of team and client meetings.
- Deliver informative, well-organised presentations, product demos, and process walk-throughs.
- Facilitate workshops and meetings.
- Become knowledgeable of the Tarantula tower site management platform, in particular the features that relate to the customer’s business requirements.
- Provide regular and insightful status reports.
- Represent Tarantula in a professional and positive manner.
Educational Qualifications
- Graduation or equivalent with 3-4 years of relevant experience.
Key Requirements
- Good understanding of business analysis methodologies.
- Competent in using Microsoft Visio and Project software.
- Experience of working as part of an IT project team.
- Strong business analysis skills.
- Ability to work with a wide range of stakeholders.
- Strong communication skills.
- Able to work independently.
