United Kingdom – September 22, 2009 - Telecom Wholesale has chosen the Site Management Platform (site-share.com) from Tarantula to manage their mobile co-location product. The platform provided a tried and tested, industry-ready workflow solution that has been used by all the UK telecom carriers for over 7 years.
Telecom Wholesale said, “We selected the system, as it met our needs both for service level regulatory compliance and the timescales required to implement a robust provisioning system for mobile co-location. We found Tarantula to be a knowledgeable software partner, professional in customising the system, in order to meet our internal workflow process.”
Tarantula released its business workflow solution for the New Zealand mobile telecom industry in June 2009 to support Telecom Wholesale and Two Degrees Mobile, in providing mobile co-location provisioning, and compliance.
The New Zealand government introduced legislation in January 2009 for strict management and reporting of co-location for all existing cellular mobile providers.
